1. Per Persson
In the early tax records, two Per Perssons are listed in Östervik in 1611, and two Pers 1607-1612. The court record for 1634 states that Per Persson, an old, gray-haired man, had married a widow with a young son Nils Olofsson, and wanted the son to have his property and look after him because Per's children had all left. However, the tax records do not show a Nils Olofsson, and he is not mentioned again in the court records. Tax records (jord, boskap, and mantal) show Lars and/or Olof (sometimes with surname Persson) in Östervik during this time, and as early as 1628. The court record for fall 1651 states that Lars and Oluff Perssöner had taken up land in Östervik from the crown. Lars and Oluff are likely not the sons of the Per Persson mentioned in the court record for 1634. They may be sons of other Per Persson in Östervik. They are listed as such in this record, although there is no way to prove this relationship.
