Circumstantial evidence is the only indication that Påvel is the father of Lars Påvelsson. Påvel is listed in Gräsmossen 1600-1602; Lars Påvelsson is listed in Gräsmossen in some early records and in Gräsholmen in others. The court record in 1675 mentions 'Gräsholmen eller Östra Gräsmossen.'.
